Since 2019, Windsor Homes has been providing custom and semi-custom construction services to clients in Belle Meade, West Meade, Franklin, and Brentwood. Our focus is on quality construction with attention to detail to ensure the structure, design and function are incorporated as envisioned. We strive to keep our projects on schedule and within budget. We have an intimate knowledge of the real estate market and are able to collaborate with our clients to inform their decisions to protect their investment. We build new homes as well as renovate existing ones, and can help our clients identify a lot or a home to renovate. We can provide design services for your project or we can work with the design team of your choosing to facilitate a smooth execution of your project.

We are experts in new construction, complete rehabs including historical homes, additions, detached structures and extensive pool & hardscape projects
Will you take on my project?
We will consider projects 500k and above (please see cost to build FAQ to determine if WH will consider your project). You will also need to have the appropriate professionals lined up for us to consider your project.
What do I need to start my project?
Architectural drawings that are ready or in the works. Eventually a landscape designer or landscape architect & a designer who will support you in interior/exterior selections and layouts
How much will it cost to build?
Most construction projects (new builds, detached garage with living space above, rehabs w/ additions etc.) start around $300/sq ft and go up from there.
When can you start my project?
Based on our work load and availability, permitting takes 1-2 months. If you do not have architectural drawings that timeframe is 6-12 months including permitting.
Do you provide a set price for construction?
We prepare a budget based on our understanding of the scope, we do not provide a set price.
Do you charge for change orders?
Changes can be made throughout the project, we charge cost plus for these items and no additional fee for changes.
Do you lock your fee in?
It depends, in some cases we do. Large changes in scope require an adjustment to any fixed fee previously agreed upon.
What is the first step in considering Windsor Homes as my contractor?
We will meet to discuss the general scope of work and a budget will be provided within 2 weeks from that date.
Do you provide professional referrals (architects, designers, landscape architects, engineers etc.) during the planning/permitting phase?
We will provide these contacts once you enter into a contract with WH. You can pay these professionals fees directly with no markup paid to WH
Do you charge for the planning/permitting phase?
We do not charge for these services which will be provided once you go under contract
How long will my project take?
Most of our projects are completed in 10-12 months regardless of complexity
Who will manage my project?
One of the 2 principals of WH will manage your project from start to finish with the support of our project manager.
If I am remodeling/adding on, will I be able to occupy the residence?
WH does not take on projects when the owner intends to occupy the property during improvements.
